For the ninth time, Europe's most important prize – the European Star Award – from Kirmes & Park Revue was awarded to the best theme parks on the continent.
Normally on the occasion of the trade exhibition IAAPA Expo Europe, the most noteworthy theme parks, the best novelties, and the most spectacular attractions and coasters were honoured.
But due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, the festive ceremony of the 2020 Awards has shifted to this year's IAAPA Expo Europe 2021 in Barcelona. abc rides Switzerland was happy to receive the Award for "Best New Ride", the Mini-Flume in Chessington World of Adventures, UK.
